With this announcement, all the Canon SLR users got a chance to get a new brand lens. Carl Zeiss will release 2 focal length (50mm and 85mm) for the time being, and it claims that more lens for Canon SLR will be announced next few months.

After 3 years of dating, my friend yesterday decided to have an engagement in this coming Winter Holiday which is in January in conjunction with his parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Lumix G1

Today, Panasonic announced its new line of 'dSLR' called G1. This dSLR utilize the world 1st micro four third system and which enable it to be smaller size than traditional dSLR.

It is also the world 1st mirrorless dSLR, they use the electronic viewfinder rather than traditional one. So mirror and pentaprism/pentamirror can't be found on this system.

This camera more like a compact camera with interchangeable lens. It is extremely recommended for beginners and those who prefer light weight dSLR.

Another thing to discuss, should this camera called DSLR? or a new family name should be given for this camera since G1 don't have the key components of dSLR.

Another product from HTC. I think this year, HTC is expanding their HTC Touch series, With HTC Touch Diamond announced last 3 month, now they announce another several HTC Touch series.

The one caught my attention most is HTC Touch HD. Its superb high LCD resolution, ideal for reading. Not only that, its design attract me too.

This HTC Touch HD will be available in Market only in 4th Quarter of 2008, when will it be? Let us wait together.

PostCard Printing~

Today was just another hot day like few days ago. It had been four days without rain. The weather is so bloody hot.

Yesterday night, the yahoo broadcasted that there will be scattered thunderstorms developing after midnight. Winds will be light and variable and chances of rain is 50%. The yahoo broadcast is quite accurate. There was thunderstorms developed. Only a few. Not many. A few cold winds had made the warm night a bit better. Rain? Like what the broadcast said, only 50% of rain, and yesterday night was the 50% of not raining.

But for tonight’s broadcast, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. Winds will remain the same, light and variable. Chance of rain became higher, 60%. Lets see how accurate for the broadcast tonight.

EF 50mm F1.8 mk II

I just got this lens last week, this is my 2nd Canon lens for my beloved EOS 450D. Why did I choose to get Canon EF 50mm F1.8 mk II 1st? Why not the telephoto lens?

Maybe I should say, this lens is cheapest and lightest in whole collection of canon lens. With its adorable aperture, fast lens I can make the photography I want. Though it is prime lens, not the zoom lens, i think a few steps forward and backward can get the image I want.

My next lens to get, maybe telephoto lens, not sure about it yet. Shall tell you guys. Stay tuned.

Last month Canon introduce their latest dSLR to the public. Everyone is hoping to see full frame dSLR like 5DmkII or so on.
